Free admission; limited seating: first come, first seated

Based on Ōtomo’s manga, Akira is an animated science-fiction disaster movie, set in the gritty, violent streets of near-future Neo-Tokyo. Akira’s high production values helped make it an international success, inspiring a new wave of anime creations and new popularity for anime worldwide.
